Job Description:
At Grupo Preseleccion Ely S.A., we are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Process Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a vital role in planning, directing, and coordinating complex engineering projects.
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge of engineering principles and practices, with the ability to apply them in various areas of manual assembly process. You will work closely with engineers to implement and validate high-performing processes that ensure product quality, as well as support lead product transfers and new product introductions.
Your responsibilities will include analyzing processes through quality improvement methodologies and statistical tools, identifying potential quality problems, and supporting cost-saving projects to achieve plant goals. Additionally, you will contribute to company strategic projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements.
Requirements:
- Technical degree in electronics, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or related field
- 2 years experience as a process engineering technician or similar role
- Intermediate or advanced written/spoken English skills
- At least 2 years of GMP manufacturing experience required
- Knowledge in handling different types of solvents, manual assembly, packing, and final lines
- Strong computer skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Ability to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
