Job Overview

We're seeking an experienced Cloud Data Architect to join our team. As a key member of our data engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable data platforms that support our business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain data processing architectures to enable efficient data lifecycle management.
  • Develop automations and repeatable patterns for deployment and monitoring of solutions.
  • Support maintenance of existing data pipelines and architectures for optimization.
  • Establish and maintain database and data architecture standards and best practices.
  • Lead in the development of data architecture and roadmaps in support of business strategies.
  • Work with internal and external resources to develop robust ETL/ELT processes from various data sources.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and analytics teams to drive business insights.
  • Manage data engineering team members and contribute to project efforts simultaneously.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience with Azure cloud services, focusing on data services including Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and more.
  • Proficiency in analysis tools (Excel, PowerBI, SSRS) and scripting in a data engineering context.
  • 8+ years in data architect/cloud architect experience, with relevant postgraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
