Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Marketing Strategist to join our team at Marriott International, Inc. As a key member of our marketing department, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing plans to drive business growth and revenue.

About the Role

This role will focus on promoting our hotel's brand through various digital channels, including social media, email marketing, and search engine optimization (SEO). You will work closely with our operations, food and beverage, and sales teams to execute promotions and campaigns that drive incremental revenue to the hotel.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute annual marketing plans to budget, in consultation with the General Manager, Food and Beverage leader, Operations leaders, Director of Marketing Communications, and cluster marketing and ecommerce teams.
  • Partner with Operations, Food & Beverage and Sales teams to execute promotions and campaigns to target in-house guests with promotions that drive incremental revenue to the hotel.
  • Act as the liaison between the marketing department and advertising agency on the tactical advertising campaigns' creative and media plans, particularly for food and beverage promotions.
  • Manage F&B media schedules and verify prompt settlement of accounts.
  • Partner with property Revenue Management to verify correct offer loading, verifying advertisement targeting is correctly directed at relevant consumer groups.
  • Maintain frequent, active engagement with Cluster eCommerce manager to verify alignment, pull-through, and 2-way communication about the status, performance evaluation, opportunities, and issues related to online programs and initiatives.
  • Verify all advertising for the hotel in digital channels is in alignment with brand voice.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of experience in sales, marketing, digital, or a related professional area, with hospitality marketing or digital advertising experience preferred.
