The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Analyst to join our team based in Heredia, Costa Rica. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and preparing documents to support Accounts Payable processes, analyzing and resolving AP inquiries or escalations, reconciling vendor statements, and maintaining accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and analyze AP inquires or escalations from internal and external process.
- Support issue resolution for potential duplicates or entries processed by mistake into AP accounts.
- Perform AP accounts reconciliation.
- Reconcile vendor statements, research, and correct discrepancies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in Accounts Payable or a related field.
- Fluent spoken and written English.
- ERP systems knowledge, particularly SAP and Ariba.
- Customer focus, problem-solving, analytical thinking, and initiative.
