**The Opportunity**
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accounting Professional to join our Global Finance Services (GFS) Team. As a key member of the team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the success of the company by maintaining general ledger accounts in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and company policies.
Main Responsibilities:
- Maintain general ledger accounts in accordance with IFRS and company policies.
- Participate actively in month-end and year-end closing activities, including preparation of journal entries and gathering information.
- Perform monthly reconciliation of medium to high complexity GL accounts.
- Research variances and prepare adjustments to ensure accuracy.
- Review reconciliations of low and medium priority and ensure that all reconciling items are researched and resolved on time.
Requirements:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience.
- Knowledge of IFRS and accounting principles.
- Fluent in English is a must.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
- Detail-oriented with good analytical and organizational skills.
