Job Description

As an Energy Modeler at Uptalent, you'll play a crucial role in analyzing and optimizing building energy performance. You'll work with cutting-edge energy modeling software and advanced engineering techniques to evaluate building energy consumption and identify areas for improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough energy modeling and analysis for new and existing buildings to assess their energy efficiency.
  • Utilize industry-leading energy modeling software to simulate building energy consumption and develop data-driven recommendations.
  • Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to integrate energy-efficient design strategies and enhance sustainability.
  • Perform detailed calculations and engineering analysis to optimize building systems and components, ensuring they operate at peak efficiency.
  • Develop and implement energy efficiency measures, providing actionable recommendations to drive business growth and reduce environmental impact.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering or a related field.
  • Proficiency in eQuest, with experience working on energy models following ASHRAE 90.1 Appendix G for code-compliance, LEED, and/or utility incentives.
  • Familiarity with mechanical systems for healthcare, life science, and higher education buildings.
  • Strong background in mechanical engineering and design, with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
