**About the Role**
This Senior Accounting Specialist position will report to the FA Lead Associate and will support the execution of Fixed Assets Accounting related activities. The successful candidate will be self-motivated with proven leadership and organization skills, knowledgeable in financial accounting, and experienced in handling high volume account portfolios.
**Responsibilities:**
- Act as single point of contact for day-to-day activities of FA Lead Associate related to FA Accounting activities such as process and support General Ledger (GL) journal entries postings, FA account review, maintenance and analysis, FA master data change requests, FA reconciliations, foreign exchange adjustments and corporate required accounting.
- Process and support monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities including completion of sub-ledger postings, sub-ledger lockdown, posting to GL, FA to SL reconciliation and aging analysis.
- Process and support the execution of activities related to internal and external audit requirements.
**Requirements:**
- Undergraduate degree in Finance / Accounting.
- Professional accountancy qualification (preferred).
- 1-3 years' experience working in accounting positions and managing a small staff of accountants.
- Basic computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel and Access) and hands on experience with ERP systems.
