About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Architectural Designer to join our team at Gensler. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for actively participating in all phases of the design process, from conceptual thought processes to design exploration.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Design Director in creating and developing overall design concepts.
- Formulate design presentation strategies and provide creative leadership to multiple design teams.
- Collaborate with the design team, clients, consultants, contractors, and vendors to achieve project objectives.
- Oversee and deliver documents with design intent and top-notch technical quality.
- Contribute to office activities, initiatives, and learning programs.
- Establish and maintain productive client relationships.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Architecture, Interior Architecture, or foreign equivalent.
- 6+ years of project experience in an architectural practice.
- Proficiency in REVIT, Sketch Up, Photoshop, InDesign, and Microsoft Office.
- 100% bilingual English/Spanish, with excellent verbal communication skills.
- Working knowledge of building codes, standards, building construction, and building structures.
- Construction documentation and/or design detail development experience.
- Strong leadership, communications, and relationship management skills.
