**Job Description**
Sgf Global is looking for a highly skilled Junior SDET/QA Engineer to join our IT enterprise in Heredia, Costa Rica.
This role involves working directly with Development and Business Analysts teams to understand business use cases, design, and execute tests. The ideal candidate will have experience in end-to-end testing, including requirements analysis, test case design, development, testing execution, maintenance, and Test automation.
You will also be responsible for analyzing business requirements, resolving ambiguous requirements, and ensuring clear understanding between QA and Development teams.
Responsibilities:
- Building robust, scalable, and high-quality test automation solutions for functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Developing code for quality automation and ensuring extensive unit test coverage of the code.
- Preparing / Executing automation functional/regression test scripts with Selenium, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Triaging defects to resolution with metrics and document remediation steps.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.
- 1+ years of end-to-end testing experience.
- Experience with Automation tools, including Selenium, Protractor, and SQL queries.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- English proficiency (C1 level).
