About Otsi: As a leading cybersecurity firm, we strive to stay ahead of emerging threats and protect our clients' sensitive information. We're seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team and help us achieve this goal.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitoring and Response: Utilize key security technologies and internal sources to monitor and respond to alerts in a timely manner, minimizing false positives and noise while capturing relevant security information.
• Detection Development: Develop and implement new detections within our SIEM system to enhance its effectiveness.
• Threat Research: Stay up-to-date with emerging threats, evaluating their likelihood of occurrence and recommending controls to mitigate them.
• Communication: Clearly and concisely communicate ongoing investigations to stakeholders.
• Documentation: Create and update incident response playbooks and other security operations documentation as needed.

Requirements:

• Experience: At least one year of experience in Information Security, with expertise in EDR tools, SIEM products, NGAV/EDR, SASE/Web Gateways, firewalls, network devices, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
• Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience with scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, JavaScript) is also required.
• Educational Background: A Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Information Security, or a related field is necessary, with a security certification (CISSP, GIAC, etc.) being a plus.
