Job Role
We are seeking an Electronic Security Project Development Engineer to support our Sales & Engineering teams on pre-sales and post-sales multi-faceted projects. This individual will work closely with the Sales team to develop proposals, collaborate with the Engineering team to create design drawings, and participate in internal project review processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Sales team in developing proposal content, including detailed takeoffs, bill of materials, and pricing.
- Create pre-design drawings, shop drawings, submittal drawings, and As-Built drawings based on client specifications.
- Develop post-sales design drawings and engineering packages.
- Work with internal and external engineering teams to resolve project issues and improve efficiency.
- Contribute to internal project review processes to ensure quality and efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical or Electromechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 0 - 2 years of experience in Fire Alarm, Security, CCTV and/or construction design activities.
- Strong understanding of electronic security systems, including access control, video, intrusion, fire alarm, and building automation.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Excellent time management and communication skills.
- Business-level English proficiency (B2 and above).
- Ability to learn electronic security design best practices and equipment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Revit experience.
- NFPA 70 (NEC) and NFPA 101 (Life Safety Code) experience.
- Brand certification (SoftwareHouse, Kantech, Lenel, ExacqVision, ProWatch, etc.).
