Job Summary:

We are seeking a Production Leadership Specialist to lead our production teams in delivering business results and meeting expectations on a day-to-day basis.

This role requires strong leadership skills, quality systems knowledge, and manufacturing process expertise. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring standard production processes are maintained, safety, quality, and production volumes are met, and regulatory compliance is ensured.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To assess and correct peers' completion of supervisory responsibilities for production teams, including personnel scheduling, evaluating discipline, coaching, selection, and training of staff.
  • To lead and support initiatives to ensure regulatory compliance within all production areas, adhering to internal and external regulatory requirements (FDA, TUV, etc.).
  • To report quality issues immediately and co-lead their investigation and solution.
  • To develop and execute plans to accomplish production goals, including productivity indicators, schedule adherence, quality, cost, and service, while maintaining a safe environment.
  • To have full responsibility and ownership of the area of production and related areas, such as gowning and clean corridors, analyzing different systems to evaluate efficiency and compliance.
  • To analyze prod line leading indicators with prior or following supervisor to ensure a smooth transition between shifts.
  • To arrange reports to communicate production progress, accomplishments, and issues as required, including leading daily meetings with staff and peers to discuss issues and determine future actions impacting overall production line.
  • To analyze daily production metrics and establish mechanisms to ensure all processes are in compliance with standard procedures.
  • To lead and develop production teams and other functions team members to achieve expected quality, production schedule, staffing, and safety goals.
  • To choose among different initiatives to motivate and energize personnel to obtain top performance, ensuring adequate communication to staff of all required HR-related information.
  • To build positive, outgoing relations with other production supervisors from sister plants or sending sites to share product, process, or equipment-related information.
  • To assess current continuous improvement processes to ensure quality, reduce costs, and improve overall production areas.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Administration, or similar careers.
  • 4-5 years of supervisory experience, preferably in a medical device, pharmaceutical, or electronic industry.
  • Computer skills, demonstrated proficiency in manufacturing systems used to collect data and control/monitor processes.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of ISO and quality systems, such as FDA and MDD.
  • Desirable: at least one certification related or applicable to the medical industry, flexibility to work on different shifts schedules, and ability to effectively lead/influence peers and other functions towards organizational goals.
