**Job Summary**: We are seeking a skilled Electronics Design Specialist to join our Continuous Hardware Engineering Group. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing released Semiconductor Test Systems and Instruments.

**Key Responsibilities**:

  1. Design and develop new instruments to correct engineering defects or replace obsolete components
  2. Analyze and debug hardware to the component level
  3. Troubleshoot hardware using system software tools
  4. Create and execute design validation plans, including data collection and analysis
  5. Drive cost down initiatives, product enhancement, and new feature implementation projects

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

  • Experience with analog and digital circuit design
  • Strong system and component-level troubleshooting experience
  • Familiarity with C, C++, or Visual Basic programming languages
  • Scripting knowledge in Perl or Python is a plus
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration, organization, and communication skills

**Education**: A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or equivalent is required. Minimum 2 years of experience in hardware design engineering or hardware test development engineering is preferred.
