**Job Overview**
We are seeking a Senior Financial Project Lead to lead the project from initiation to completion in the Global Finance Services (GFS). The successful candidate will establish work areas for the GFS including scope and time parameters.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Evaluate project requirements and ensure they are fully defined and scoped through the coordination and management of necessary project resources.
- Engage all GFS staff, country and regional stakeholders, and other partners to ensure their requirements are met.
- Prepare and maintain all necessary project documentation and communicate them to relevant stakeholders for timely approval.
- Establish defined project deliverables and goals and monitor progress against project milestones to ensure effective delivery and timely identification and resolution of issues that may impact delivery.
- Develop and manage effective operational processes and procedures to deliver the required project outcomes.
- Provide full support on project-related requests or any accounting and process ad-hoc requirements.
**Qualifications and Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 6 years of experience in project management, preferably with PMP or PRINCE2 certification.
- 4 years of experience in setting up and managing financial reporting structures, systems, and procedures.
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Banking and Finance, or a related field.
- A member of an internationally recognized accountancy qualification is preferred (e.g., CPA, ACA, CGMA (CIMA) or equivalent).
- An advanced English level, both written and verbal.
- A strong understanding of project management principles, documentation, project quality standards, and relevant reporting requirements.
- Excellent financial skills combined with the ability to explain complex financial concepts.
- An effective team player, experienced in working as part of a senior management team and able to work with people at all levels in the organization.
- Highly effective oral and written communication skills with the ability to provide a diplomatic but robust challenge to colleagues at all levels where necessary.
- Resilient and durable, able to maintain momentum in the face of obstacles and setbacks.
- Able to deal with ambiguity and uncertainty in an effective manner.
- Ability to work according to strict deadlines and manage various demands, demonstrating accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
- Proven previous job stability, including maintaining long-term work relationships with former employers.
