Cash Application Analyst Role

At SYK Costa Rica Services S.R.L, we are seeking a highly skilled Cash Application Analyst to join our team. This role is a key part of our Finance One optimization program, and the successful candidate will be responsible for the most complex cash application activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the daily generation of reports for the team, ensuring timely and accurate information.
  • Identify and research discrepancies in miscellaneous "unidentified on account" amounts, providing solutions to resolve these issues.
  • Perform application of credit card payments, checks, wire transfers, and other payment methods, ensuring reconciliation with our company's subledger accounts.
  • Responsible for the application of NON-Account Receivable payments, Netting, and International Wires, maintaining accurate records and communicating with other divisions.
  • Manage the Intercompany Cash Application, producing reports and maintaining communication with other divisions.
  • Comply with KPIs, meeting or exceeding SLAs, and ensuring the team's performance is aligned with company goals.
  • Responsible for clearing offsets and corrections, ensuring accurate and timely resolution of payment discrepancies.
  • Responsible for Month end Close activities, reconciliations, and tie with all other divisions, preparing documentation for Journal entries.
Requirements:
  • Technical or Associates Degree (2-year degree) in a relevant field.
  • MS Office Suite proficiency.
  • Fluent spoken and written English, with any other language being a plus.
  • Oracle and SAP systems knowledge is a significant advantage.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
  • Ability to work well with cross-functional teams and multi-task.
  • Good communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and ability to communicate complicated issues effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform consistently under varying business pressure and adapt to a quickly changing environment.
  • Computer or technical knowledge.
  • Effective problem-solving skills.
