We are seeking a skilled IT Security Risk Advisor to join our team. As an IT Security Risk Advisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our systems and data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Examine internal IT controls to identify potential security risks and develop remediation strategies.
  • Troubleshoot security and network problems to ensure minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Evaluate responses to system and/or network security breaches to ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards.
  • Develop and implement plans to monitor and upgrade security measures to protect organizational data, systems, and networks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advise on change management processes and ensure effective communication of technical issues.
  • Test and identify network and system vulnerabilities to create counteractive strategies and protect against cyber threats.
  • Conduct efficient and effective IT audit procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate complex technical issues in simplified terms to relevant staff to facilitate understanding and decision-making.
  • Perform regular audit testing and provide recommendations to improve overall security posture.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Information Technology or related field is essential.
  • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of work experience as an IT Auditor is required.
  • Experience with firewalls, Office 365 Security, VSX, and Endpoint Security is highly valued.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to communicate complex technical issues effectively.
