Marriott International, Inc is seeking an experienced Systems Director to join our team.
Job SummaryThe Systems Director will be responsible for driving company values and philosophy by ensuring all training and development activities are strategically linked to the company's mission and vision. This role will contribute advanced knowledge and skill in technology and general hospitality business knowledge to support cluster and technology objectives.
This position will assist hotel management with technology planning, decision-making, implementation, and maintenance. The Systems Director may direct the work of hotel or area systems technicians and interfaces with vendors, owners, executive committee and hotel staff.
Key Responsibilities- Assist hotel management with technology planning, decision-making, implementation, and maintenance.
- Contribute advanced knowledge and skill in technology and general hospitality business knowledge to support cluster and technology objectives.
- Create and maintain properties' technology plans.
- Provide project support for new roll-outs/implementations.
- Lead project work as needed.
- Provide end-user support to hotel staff and business center.
This role requires a strong understanding of information technology, computer science, or related fields, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in a similar role and a bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
Our company offers a competitive salary, ranging from $85,000 to $120,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
