Our Team in Costa Rica

Costa Rica's Finance Business Partners play a vital role in driving business performance and strategic growth. As a key member of our team, you'll work closely with Senior Leaders to develop and execute business plans that drive results.

Your Role

We're seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to support our North America business unit. Key responsibilities include:

  • Partnering with the CTO and Product Management VP on Capex initiatives, ensuring alignment with NA Controller group and FP&A requests.
  • Driving contractor and product development labor analysis insights alongside the product development, implementation teams, and GM.
  • Providing cost analysis and insights to CTO & product development team on cloud and IT spend.
  • Tracking and partnering on Travel and Entertainment spend with Verification Solutions and Housing Leadership teams.
  • Working with NA FP&A on facilities and labor recharges.
  • Driving meaningful cost allocation for ad hoc product profitability / variable margin in partnership with VS & Housing leadership teams.
  • Effectively managing the month end cost close for Housing and Verifications solutions: GL Details, understanding monthly trends LIVE, coordinating journal entries with GL Team, making accrual entries on behalf of Finance, communicating Balance Sheet figures / levers to Finance Leaders.
  • Supporting Forecast period (MMC) and budget: Understanding variances from Month End and communicating, Loading to Hyperion, including CapEx cube and PLNREP.
  • Managing monthly/quarterly reporting: EBIT waterfall/bridge, MINT (Reporting tool).
  • Driving process improvements and standardization across financial reporting and analysis models.
  • Adhering to service level agreements (SLAs) and performance metrics.
  • Creating and maintaining desktop procedure documents for routine processes.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field.
  • Master's in Business Administration, Certified Public Accountant, or related Master's degree (desired).
  • Advanced English language proficiency.
  • 6+ years of progressive experience in Finance.
  • Strong business partnering skills with a focus on customer service and responsiveness, preferably experience supporting other finance professionals.
  • Experience with month end processes and reporting, fixed assets, GL, account reconciliation, and P&L analysis/variance explanations.
  • Experience running forecast and budget processes.
  • Ability to present and partner with Senior Leader levels.
  • Strong ability to work in system details as well as summarize and explain large amounts of information, including variances to budget and forecast.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with all levels within the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement and solve problems in a team environment.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize multiple projects under tight deadlines and work independently.
  • Integrity in research/analysis and commitment.

Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this role is between $80,000 - $120,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
