**_What Cardinal Health Manufacturing Contributes_**
At Cardinal Health, the Manufacturing team plays a critical role in delivering high-quality medical products to our customers. This team is responsible for cost of production and maintenance activities, including process improvement, supply chain management, quality assurance, employee safety, and environmental commitment.
As an Assembly Operator, you will be part of this team, performing a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production to put together component parts to make assemblies, sub-assemblies or completed units, using standard operating procedures. You will also conduct quality inspections on processing lines in accordance with quality specifications.
**_Job Summary_**
The Assembly Operator position at Cardinal Health is a key role in the manufacturing process of our medical products. You will operate multiple machines at once and perform routine inspections of manufactured products in accordance with quality specifications. This job reports defects and works with the quality team to investigate and identify root causes. You will ensure that manufactured parts are captured in bins and prepared for transport.
**_Responsibilities_**
- Set up and operate production equipment in accordance with current manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures.
- Measure and record data associated with operating and manufacturing equipment.
- Verify outputs in the manufacturing process and ensure that quality and quantity standards are met.
- Inspect components for debris and report defects as needed to management and the quality team.
- Perform duties in compliance with all safety rules and regulations required by the Company, Local, and State and Federal provisions.
**_Requirements_**
- 1-2 years of experience in manufacturing or a related field.
- High school degree or GED.
