We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Data Specialist to join our team at Moody's Investors Service. As a key member of our ratings and research process, you will be responsible for analyzing financial documents and data provided by Issuers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze financial statements, official statements, and other documents related to issuers' performance.
- Work directly with ratings and support analysts to explain data, adjustments, and other information needed.
- Become proficient in building documentation and providing mentorship to support analysts and outsourcers.
- Review, adjust, and publish data to external market participants.
- Collaborate regularly with Moody's ratings analysts regarding financial and operational data needed for analysis and publications.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- B.A. or B.S. degree required; specializations in Business management, Public Administration, Accounting, Finance preferred.
- Fluent in both English/Portuguese B2 level for both languages is required.
- Knowledge in analyzing financial documents and accounting is required.
- Prior experience 1-3 years in analyzing financial documents and accounting is a plus.
- Fully proficient in English, capacity to express ideas and attend calls and meetings.
