As a Financial Reporting Expert at Citi, you will play a critical role in generating, tracking, and submitting financial reports in coordination with the Finance Team.

This intermediate-level position requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in preparing and reporting business/financial transactions, reports, and statements in accordance with local regulatory guidelines.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the analysis and submission of reports to various constituencies (local regulators, SEC, Fed, OCC, etc.) based on requirements such as US GAAP, US Regulatory, and local statutory reporting
  • Assisting with closing the books and sub-ledgers, including passing appropriate required adjustment entries and consolidating financials at the end of each accounting period
  • Assisting with financial and management reporting, planning, and analysis, metrics, monitoring, and forecasting
  • Documenting and establishing business requirement documents, reviewing test scripts, and interacting with business partners to ensure successful migrations of key technology releases
  • Identifying and resolving problems using basic Finance knowledge, escalating as needed
  • Assisting with the implementation of workflow or process change and redesign
  • Assisting in the management of one or more processes, reports, procedures, or products
  • Executing processes and procedures within defined parameters

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • 4+ years of previous experience in similar roles
  • Bachelor's University degree in areas related to Finance/Business/Accounting
  • Advanced English level
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented
  • Working knowledge of related industry practices and standards
  • Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
