The Role
- Focus on complex functional problems without day-to-day supervision or direction.
- Provide guidance and advice to less experienced consultants on complex functional issues during implementation and client relationships development.
- Analyze client business requirements and relate them to TEMENOS products capability.
- Identify and validate gaps together with proposals for their resolution (e.g., workarounds or changes in processes).
- Provide quick and accurate responses to technical queries and facilitate technology-related inquiries from clients, distributors, and partners.
- Define and validate customization needs for TEMENOS products as per agreed business definitions.
- Accountable for writing specifications, if needed, for local development and ensure Technical Consultants have a clear understanding of these specifications.
- Prepare and perform the configuration of TEMENOS products through static and semi-static data definition for core system installation.
- Prepare and perform functional testing to support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Coordinate with TEMENOS maintenance groups to ensure product problems identified are understood and resolved.
- Review client organization, processes, and workflows and propose a 'post-picture' to maximize the benefit from TEMENOS products.
Key Requirements
- Professional with a minimum of five years of experience in Finance or banking software consultancy.
- At least three years of experience in Retail and/or corporate banking, implementing banking core systems, involving accounts management and deposits.
- Fully understand and be able to deploy the TEMENOS Implementation Methodology.
- Inter-personal communication skills (written and verbal).
- Pro-active in pre-empting issues and problems.
- Good team worker.
- Self-sufficient.
- Ability to engage and interact with non-technical staff.
