Industrial Automation Specialist

Amentum is seeking an Industrial Automation Specialist to monitor and maintain Instrumentation & Control systems.

This role involves working at client installations to ensure zero failures by providing an advanced level of expertise in maintaining, troubleshooting, and servicing all aspects of the building automation systems in a large-scale multi-purpose complex.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to maintain, improve, and participate in troubleshooting the associated equipment serving the spaces monitored.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Check and ensure the operation of BMS, PME, and LSS systems.
2. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to instrumentation and control systems.
3. Perform daily rounds to check operational readiness of all I&C equipment.
4. Ensure that all essential parameters are properly displayed on the BMS/PME systems.
5. Collaborate with other teams to resolve complex monitoring and control problems.

Requirements:

• Associate degree in Electronics/Electrical or Instrument Controls Technology, or equivalent experience.
• 2 years of experience as a BMS technician, a controls environment, or demonstrated equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Able to demonstrate a clear understanding of technical engineering systems.
