Lead Environmental Sustainability Initiatives
The role of Environmental Sustainability Specialist is to drive environmental sustainability across the organization. This involves identifying opportunities to meet commitments and driving delivery of internal environmental sustainability initiatives. The specialist will work in synergy with various internal partners and external stakeholders.
Main Responsibilities:
- Act as a global owner, identifying, planning, and providing strategic direction and oversight of internal environmental sustainability improvements.
- Drive awareness, create, and design specific education and training initiatives for the company related to environmental sustainability.
- Perform market research to maintain a comprehensive understanding of the newest innovations and developments in sustainable practices and technology.
- Seek opportunities to accelerate sustainability across locations and offices by proposing and implementing programs that will positively impact the environmental footprint.
- Ensure proactive and continuous progress is being made towards internal improvement initiatives to ensure goals or objectives are accomplished.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in sustainability with a track record of effectively managing programs.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Environmental Science, Business, Finance, Engineering, or Sustainability from an accredited college/university.
- Master's degree preferred.
