Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Data Quality Assurance Specialist to work closely with data analysts and developers in the delivery of error-free data. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of QA methodology and be able to analyze complex data to ensure accuracy and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze data using manual and automation techniques to identify trends, patterns, and inconsistencies.
- Develop and maintain automated tests to ensure data quality standards are achieved.
- Collaborate with cross-functional development teams to establish and enforce data quality standards and documentation.
- Profile data to determine trends, patterns, and inconsistencies, and draw conclusions.
- Identify code issues and communicate effectively to have quick turnaround in code for retest.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in data analysis and/or data quality assurance review.
- Strong understanding of QA methodology and data validation principles.
- Experience in data automation using SAS, Unix Shell Scripting, and SQL.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
