We're excited to announce an opportunity for a highly skilled Endpoint Security Specialist to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific.

In this role, you'll be responsible for supporting solutions that protect, detect, and alert security threats in our global network environment. You'll work closely with the team to implement and manage endpoint security controls, conduct risk assessments, and develop risk mitigation strategies for legacy OS endpoints.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing technical SME support and reviewing policy configurations
  • Deploying Carbon Black to small groups of test devices and providing post-deployment support
  • Working with the team to document lessons learned and develop deployment plans for all in-scope devices
  • Identifying areas for improvement in technology used and monitoring security events using endpoint security tools and SIEM solutions

To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess excellent problem-solving skills, a strong understanding of endpoint security principles and best practices, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

A bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, computer science, systems engineering, or a related field is required, as well as 5+ years of systems administration experience and 3-5 years of endpoint security operations experience.
