**Role Summary**:
The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for executing finished goods and materials/components call offs within the production or buying centre location. This role will interface daily with suppliers to ensure the right amount of finished goods or materials are procured and will mitigate and adjust requirements based on weekly planning reviews from supply planning. The Procurement Specialist will work closely with Supply Planners, production scheduling, and raw material planners to ensure seamless execution of procurement activities.

**Responsibilities**:

  • Responsible for maintaining master data setup in transactional systems, including supplier lead time, supplier details, product details, and replenishment methodology (MOQS)
  • Communicates forecast requirements to the supply base for finished goods and components/materials
  • Cuts work orders and ensures all POs are placed accordingly to the rules as agreed with the Account Lead
  • Executes and communicates safety stock levels required for raw materials/finished goods to the supply base
  • Reviews data from suppliers in terms of accuracy and ensures the information supports the supplier agreement and complies with the Stryker system of record
  • Acts as the first line of contact from suppliers informing of any adjustments to daily or weekly requirements based on the latest supply net requirements
  • Reports supplier performance based on standard metrics, i.e., prepares and monitors supplier scorecards
  • Communicates phase-out or phase-in of new finished goods or raw materials into the organization and tracks to ensure timing has been agreed and is being executed to the agreement
  • Prepares weekly status reports for the demand and supply execution process

**Requirements**:

  • Degree level in Business/Engineering/Supply Chain Management
  • Languages: at least English, preferably a second language depending on global location
  • Minimum of 2 years in a similar buying/production scheduling role
  • Entry-level Graduate may also be considered for the role
  • IT Planning system experience, including use of SAP as a minimum requirement or equivalent ERP systems
  • Previous experience in supplier relationship management
