The Mano River Union region has undergone significant transformation in recent years, with countries such as Liberia, Sierra Leone, Guinea, and Côte d'Ivoire emerging from decades of conflict. However, despite this progress, tensions remain in border areas, and reconciliation is an ongoing process.

This is where you come in. As a Regional Peacebuilding Officer with Cinfo, you will play a critical role in identifying entry points for cross-border and sub-regional peacebuilding initiatives. You will work closely with our team in Monrovia, Liberia, and with UN Country Teams in the four countries of the Mano River Union region to support programme design and elaboration, providing analysis on sub-regional challenges.

Your expertise will help us to better understand the complex dynamics at play in this region and to develop effective strategies for building community resilience and social cohesion. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the implementation of the United Nations Development Assistance Framework (UNDAF) in support of the Government's Pro-Poor Agenda for Prosperity and Development.
