Sanitization Specialist

Edwards Lifesciences is seeking a Sanitization Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of tools, components, and manufacturing aids.

• Prepare tools and components for sanitization by washing, cleaning, and wrapping them in accordance with department procedures or engineering requests.
• Load tools and components into autoclaves and/or ovens per specified diagrammed instructions and initiate equipment cycles for sanitization.
• Review, follow, and perform job functions in compliance with established work instructions and adherence to SOPs, including issuing components in JDE, recording traceable information on device history records, and signing off on work orders.
• Packaging components, such as jars, lids, and holders for autoclaving.

• H.S. Diploma or equivalent; no experience required.
• Familiarity with load configurations and autoclave operations for autoclaves used for sanitization of tooling and supplies.
• Good communication skills, including giving and receiving feedback.
• Able to read, comprehend, and speak English.
• Must be able to work with minimum supervision by following detailed manufacturing instructions.
• Work in a Team environment, primarily working within immediate work unit and with other departments.
• Straightforward attendance to detail and ability to comply with standards.
• Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control.
