**About SGF Global**

SGF Global is a forward-thinking enterprise seeking a skilled Junior SDET/QA Engineer to join our Heredia, Costa Rica team.

We are committed to delivering high-quality solutions and require a talented individual to build robust test automation solutions for functional, regression, and performance testing.

This is an exciting opportunity to work directly with Development and Business Analysts teams, understand business use cases, design, and execute tests. You will also analyze business requirements, resolve ambiguous requirements, and ensure clear understanding between QA and Development teams.

The ideal candidate will have experience in end-to-end testing, including requirements analysis, test case design, development, testing execution, maintenance, and Test automation. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute automated test scripts using Selenium, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
  • Build and manage automation frameworks using Selenium with JUnit/TestNG.
  • Prepare Test Strategy, Test Planning, Test Estimations, and Test Documents for manual and automated testing processes.
  • Triage defects to resolution with metrics and document remediation steps.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.
  • 1+ years of end-to-end testing experience.
  • Experience with Automation tools, including Selenium, Protractor, and SQL queries.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • English proficiency (C1 level).
