About the Role

As a Recruiter at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will be responsible for ensuring necessary authorization is obtained prior to commencing recruitment activity. You will maintain records of activity via the recruitment system and prepare productivity, analytical and other reports as assigned.

You will track applicants, may assist management in sourcing of support functions as necessary, and manage workflow within the team. You will communicate corporate initiatives, strategies and measurements, train and develop existing recruiters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate candidate qualifications and conduct interviews.
  • Develop and implement effective recruiting strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to hiring managers.
  • Identify and address potential biases in the recruitment process.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic/vocational qualification.
  • Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 5+ years).
  • Strong analytical and quantitative abilities.
  • Ability to work with ambiguity and complexity.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
