**Job Summary:**
The Human Resource Generalist is responsible for overseeing the daily functions of the HR department. This includes hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, as well as enforcing company policies and practices.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Recruit, interview, hire, and onboard new staff in the department.
- Oversee the daily workflow of the Costa Rica officers.
- Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations.
- Handle discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company and Costa Rica labor policy.
**Additional Duties:**
- Review, track, and document compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments.
- Conduct or acquire background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
- Implement new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
- Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs.
**Requirements:**
- Minimum of an associate degree in a relevant field.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in HR.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
**Work Environment:**
This position requires the ability to sit for long periods of time at a workstation. The individual must be able to hear and speak over the telephone and in person as necessary to communicate. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
**Compensation:**
The salary for this position is $850,000.00 per month.
