Financial Leader for Commercial Operations

We are looking for a Financial Leader to join our team in Heredia, Costa Rica, as part of our Commercial Operations.

The role reports to the Senior Operation/Commercial Manager and involves 1-2 direct reports with geographic scope in the US.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monthly Actuals vs Forecast analysis and guarantee financial statement lines (P&L, B/S, and CF).
  • Support monthly review meetings with analysis by product category and identify risks and opportunities to be presented to the end market Leadership Team.
  • Guarantee SOX controls are executed and maintained.
  • Clear understanding of processes and procedures in place.
  • Lead the simplification and automation.
  • Engage with stakeholders to promote commercial-driven discussions while execute process optimizations, improving business performance.
  • Proactive business partner supporting/managing key stakeholders.
  • Support/lead the development of financial modeling and provide scenario analysis to drive commercial business decisions.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in Accounting, Financial Analysis, or related areas.
  • Strong knowledge of finance/analytics and demonstrated commercial acumen.
  • Ability to make quick decisions, use good judgment, and ask relevant questions.
  • High sense of urgency and work ethic.
  • Must demonstrate financial responsibility and reliability.
  • Must be detail-oriented.
  • Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint is a must.
  • Fluent in English - Advanced level.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related area.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CPA, MBA, or Master of Accounting.
  • High proficiency in Power BI MicroStrategy, BPC, and SAP skills is a plus for the role.
