About the Job

The Sr. Supply Chain Planner plays a vital role in meeting customer needs and service level objectives by planning and scheduling demand planning activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demand Planning/Scheduling:
    • Review and maintain statistically generated forecasts with GSCM and Marketing.
    • Approve replenishment targets and note input elements resulting in change.
    • Work with Global Marketing, International Demand Planning, and Country Operations groups to identify known demand sources.
    • Process improvement: working across functions to improve current processes that drive increased service levels, reduced inventory, and efficient internal processes.
  • New Product Launch Management:
    • Primary Core Team Member for Supply Chain on New Product Development Teams.
    • Develop launch plans, including forecasts, inventory targets, cannibalization plans, and introduction schedules through collaboration with key stakeholders.
  • Inventory Management:
    • Contribute to the development of inventory plans.
    • Establish inventory targets.
    • Monitor inventory performance to plan and targets.
    • Management of expired, excess, and obsolescence reserves.
    • Allocate inventory to regions in short supply situations.
  • Supply Chain Execution:
    • Support daily/weekly/monthly planning processes.
    • Maintain global forecasts (Marketing Handshake).
    • Manage net requirements.
    • Monitor manufacturing execution (Manufacturing Handshake).
    • Provide inventory analysis.
    • Proactively manage backorders.
  • Drive SI&OP Process:
  • Achieve Performance Metrics:
    • Service Level/Backorder.
    • Forecast Accuracy.
    • Inventory.
    • Finished Goods Scrap.

Required Qualifications:

- Four-year degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Materials Management, or related field/equivalent work experience.

- 5+ years' experience in demand planning, supply planning, manufacturing planning, or inventory control functions.

- Very strong skills utilizing software programs as Excel, Teams, Word, and PowerPoint.

- Strong communication skills with the ability to successfully interact at all levels of the organization.

- Self-motivated independent worker.

- Performs to a high level of accuracy in all tasks.

- Highly adaptable, flexible, and willing to accept new ideas, processes, and procedures.

- Strong analytical problem-solving skills.

- Detail oriented and organized.

- Working knowledge of DRP, MPS, and MRP.
