This role is critical to our success, as the professional will be responsible for timely and accurate preparation of Monthly VAT/IVA returns in various tax jurisdictions globally. Key responsibilities include verifying sales and purchase invoices are compliant for VAT purposes and assisting in the implementation of VAT reporting technology (automation). Responsibilities also include:
- Preparation and submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual VAT/IVA filing in various tax jurisdictions globally.
- Initiating and coordinating VAT/IVA payments.
- Preparing corrective VAT/IVA returns.
- Reconciliation of tax liability GL accounts for VAT/IVA.
- Assisting with external, internal, and fiscal tax audit queries.
- Providing support for day-to-day VAT /IVA queries related to fuel.
