With a workforce of more than 1,000 colleagues, GBS Shared Services has expanded globally, performing various financial activities from regionally centralized locations.
Job Description
The GBS San Jose Financial Services team is responsible for the timely delivery of standardized financial processes on behalf of Biopharmaceutical Finance and their business partners for the Emerging Markets. As a Business Analyst for Financial Processes, you will be the main contact for local finance and all regions supported by GBS San Jose, performing key activities such as accounts payable inquiries and processing, controls related performance, and inquiries regarding any issue related to the Procure-to-Pay process.
Key Responsibilities
- Procure-to-Pay core process troubleshooting and inquiries
- Works independently with guidance and support from Management and senior colleagues
- Organizes own workload, prioritizes, and proactively follows up on outstanding items
- Responsible for end-to-end issue resolution related to Vendor Master Data, Purchase Order, invoices/credit notes in process
- Maintains and exceeds metrics and goals
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Strong analytical, process management skills, and capability to manage complex/critical scenarios
- Ability to operate independently and remain focused through change or uncertainty
- Good understanding of system functionality and processes
- Attention to detail and ability to work with a high degree of accuracy
