Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Machine Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating various types of machinery in the manufacturing process, adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and production schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up, load materials, and operate a variety of manufacturing equipment to produce device components and sterilize finished products, ensuring appropriate settings and parameters to meet product design and quality specifications.
  • Perform regular inspections of machinery and output to ensure processes are executed in conformance with production specifications, maintaining a stable and effective process.
  • Review, follow, and perform job functions in compliance with established work instructions and adherence to SOPs, including recording traceable information on device history records and entering information into JDE.
  • Select and utilize associated equipment and tooling for assigned operations/tasks.
  • Ensure automated recording of parameters throughout the process for input into device history records.
  • Provide guidance and feedback to lower-level staff.
  • Determine production priorities and establish schedules for machine operation.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve broad equipment errors across all production operations, determining appropriate use of technical support.
  • Interact with higher levels of leadership on equipment failures.
  • May be called upon to lead training programs, assess training effectiveness, confirm participants' learning, and contribute to advancement in competencies.
  • Arrive on time, maintain regular attendance without excessive absenteeism, and work a full 8-hour or longer work period.
  • Perform other incidental duties: General work area housekeeping.
