Position Overview

TransUnion is seeking a Pricing Senior Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing against the Pricing Strategy for the Global Solution Group by supporting US Markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain collaborative relationships throughout TU's USIS Markets to accomplish work priorities.
  • Develop and maintain pricing policies and procedures.
  • Work on multiple projects and engagements creating and setting pricing with sales in a Bid Desk capacity.
  • Develop strong analytical and data management skills to turn pricing strategy into actionable working pricing models.
  • Work directly with sales to product competitive pricing quotes.
  • Assume joint budgetary responsibility for achieving incremental revenue targets.
  • Monitor, track, and report on pricing campaigns contributing to the wider team's objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or other related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in an analytical pricing role where you are able to grasp fundamental pricing principles.
  • A thought leader with the ability to work independently, influence others, and collaborate with cross-functional departments to accomplish a common goal.
  • Experience working with sales making strategic pricing recommendations.
  • High analytical aptitude with exceptional communications skills to translate data into a relatable story.
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively both verbally and in writing in English throughout all levels of an organization.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Quoting, customer pricing, Bid Desk or Deal Desk.
  • Experience working with CPQ software as a pricing professional or a business analyst.
  • Proved aptitude for relationship building and experience working in highly metricized organizations.
  • A growth mindset with a willingness to innovate.
  • Masters of Business Administration with coursework on pricing framework.

This is a remote position which may require occasional in-person attendance at work-related events at the discretion of management.
