Job Overview

This Service Delivery Manager role at Hewlett Packard involves overseeing the operational business relationship with mid-size to large domestic accounts. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in directly related business and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

  1. Own the customer operational business relationship of mid-size to large domestic accounts by managing performance metrics, reporting, escalation & communication.

  2. Act as a point of contact for operational & tactical issues of medium to high complexity, representing delivery of all services (all functions) to the customer.

  3. Lead and develop product support or solution(s) planning over entire lifecycle, including conformance to pricing strategies, end-to-end service delivery and sales readiness and associated processes.

  4. Represent services on product or solution core teams and provide service requirements into product development stages/phases.

  5. Perform business analysis, identify root cause, and develop recommendations/solutions to drive business improvements.

  6. Collaborate with regions/WW regarding service and support planning, implementation and performance.

  7. Be responsible for cost management revenue as part of the achievement of gross margin achievement and support identifying incremental revenue opportunities.

Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Typically 3 to 5+ years of experience in directly related business.
  • Intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrate ability to prepare clear, concise and persuasive communications for multiple audiences.
  • Showcase knowledge of IT and services industry.
  • Exhibit general technical understanding of products.
  • Demonstrate problem detection and analysis of root cause to implement a corrective action plan.
