We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Reporting Manager to join our team. This individual will be responsible for providing accounting guidance and support to our business units, strengthening controls by demonstrating transparency of the Balance Sheet, resolving complex problems or transactions, and managing processes, reports, procedures or products.
Responsibilities:
- Assists in providing accounting guidance and support for Citi business units
- Assists in strengthening and providing controls by showing transparency of the Balance Sheet
- Resolves complex problems or transactions, where expertise is required to interpret policies, guidelines or processes
- Manages one or more processes, reports, procedures or products, and considered analytical or procedural “expert” representing a unit or team on cross-function process or project deliverables
- Evaluates moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information
- Prioritizes and validates potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources
- May serve as a reviewer or checker for complex processes
- Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision
- Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy
