About the Role

Medtronic seeks a skilled Supply Chain Planner to join our team. As a key member of our supply chain organization, you will be responsible for analyzing and developing long-term strategies that address capacity issues and production location decisions in support of business goals.

Main Responsibilities

• Analyze and develop long-term supply chain strategies and networks to address capacity issues and production location decisions in support of business goals
• Support business execution of new programs and initiatives, including promotional activities, forecast and coordination for key events, new product launches, and network redesigns
• Monitor key sales and operations planning performance indicators, cost-to-serve performance data, and coordinate cross-functional work teams to increase the effectiveness of supply chain initiatives
• Communicate with internal stakeholders about deployment projections, constraints, allocation decisions, etc.
• Identify and implement process(s) and/or system changes to improve on-time delivery performance
• Provide comprehensive insights on distribution requirements, backorder projections or other process

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required
• Minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 1+ years of experience
• Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written English and Spanish communication skills with good articulation of Supply Chain concepts
• Strong data analytics expertise, Excel and Proficient in Microsoft Office
