**Job Description**:
We are seeking a highly skilled Information Security Compliance Expert to join our Global Security team at Splunk. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for supporting customer audit activities, including facilitating requests for evidence, responding to security control design and implementation questions, and participating in customer meetings and calls to demonstrate Splunk's security control alignment with customer expectations.
This role requires a deep understanding of information security principles and a passion for building trust with customers. If you have experience in security-based audits and are able to effectively communicate complex security information to customers, then this could be the ideal opportunity for you.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Plan, lead, and execute security-based audits using established internal auditing standards.
- Participate as a Splunk SME on operational, compliance, and security audits.
- Develop and maintain audit documents and reports that capture procedures performed, support conclusions reached, and provide value-added recommendations.
- Communicate audit results and recommendations both orally and in writing to management.
**Ideal Candidate:**
- 5+ years of applicable work experience in Information Security or Compliance with a Bachelor's degree, or 3+ years with a Master's degree.
- Functional knowledge of cyber security principles, concepts, technologies, and security compliance frameworks.
- Understanding of cloud security audit principles.
- Customer service oriented with a problem-solving approach.
