This position at Baxter plays a key role in our best-in-class Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) organization, acting as an extension of the Consumer Finance team.
The FP&A US Senior Financial Analyst role contributes to financial planning and reporting activities for US businesses, providing analysis, reporting services, and presentation materials for various scenarios.
Key Responsibilities- Support US BPS business by delivering comprehensive analysis and insights on MRR, QRR, and Forecast scenarios.
- Collaborate with the LCF to prepare budgets, forecasts, and LRP, uploading data into PlanIT for efficient tracking.
- Provide OPEX support: budgeting, forecasting, monthly reporting, and AdHoc requests for US HP and US Renal teams, as well as other functions as needed.
- Support sales reporting activities for US Hospital Products and US Renal, including daily and outlook reports.
- Compare forecasts against budgets, prior year, and other scenarios, identifying key variances and recommending improvements.
- Perform variance analysis to explain differences in performance and suggest recommendations for future growth.
- Complete ad-hoc reporting requests and develop, enhance, and maintain relationships with finance and business customers.
- Bachelor's degree in Public Accounting or Business Administration or Finance.
- Minimum 3 years of work experience in related fields.
- English Advanced level B2+ -C1.
- Experience in decision support activities.
- Proven ability in forecasting and financial analysis.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel.
- Desirable knowledge in BI tools.
- Attention to detail, good problem-solving, and analytical skills required.
- Teamwork and effective interpersonal relationships.
