Job Overview
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in SQL Server, with expertise in Azure Cloud and a proven ability to deliver excellent customer support. This role requires a collaborative mindset, with a willingness to work closely with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead database management efforts, ensuring seamless execution of database tasks and projects
- Develop and maintain databases to meet business requirements, using expertise in SQL Server and Azure Cloud
- Collaborate with internal teams and customers to identify and resolve technical issues
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, applying knowledge to drive business growth
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in database administration, with a focus on SQL Server and Azure Cloud
- 3+ years of customer-facing or support experience, with a proven track record of delivering excellent service
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Platform, Cloud Computing, and Azure architecture components
- Familiarity with Azure Networking is a definite plus
Preferred Qualifications
- Tier 2/3 Environment Experience: Prior exposure to Tier 2/3 environments is highly valued.
- Educational Background: While not mandatory, a BS in computer science/engineering or equivalent industry experience is preferred.
