**Job Description:**
We are seeking an experienced Logistics Operations Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing department and business strategies for physical distribution, leading and developing the physical distribution support team, facilitating daily operational tasks, defining priorities, ensuring sufficient warehouse and transportation capacity, and participating in large projects for cost savings, process improvements, and infrastructure changes.
The ideal candidate will have a degree and/or master in physical distribution or a related field, minimum 5 years' experience in warehouse management, shipping and logistics, transport management, customer service management, or a leading role in APICS, problem-solving skills, advanced Excel, advanced English Level, and SAP.
**Responsibilities:**
- Develops department and business strategies for physical distribution with a medium- to long-term perspective.
- Leads and develops the physical distribution support team.
- Facilitates daily operational tasks, defines priorities, and ensures sufficient warehouse and transportation capacity.
- Participates in large projects for cost savings, process improvements, and infrastructure changes.
- Ensures compliance with US and CR government regulations and programs as they relate to inventory control and shipments (FDA, IATA, Procomer, customs, etc.).
- Creates monthly reports and departmental metrics.
- Performs other duties as required and ensures compliance with Environment, Health, and Safety standards.
**Requirements:**
- Degree and/or master in physical distribution or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in warehouse management, shipping and logistics, transport management, customer service management, or a leading role in APICS.
- Problem-solving skills, advanced Excel, advanced English Level, and SAP.
