Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pastry Chef to join our team at Marriott International, Inc. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for leading the pastry culinary team and ensuring the highest quality of pastries and desserts in all areas of the hotel.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead the pastry culinary team to prepare high-quality pastries and desserts.
  2. Develop and implement new pastry recipes and menus to enhance the guest experience.
  3. Supervise and train pastry staff to ensure they meet the highest standards of quality and service.
  4. Manage inventory and ordering of pastry supplies to ensure efficient use of resources.
  5. Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards at all times.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 4 years of experience in the culinary industry preferred.
  • 2-year degree in Culinary Arts or related field and 2 years of experience in the culinary industry.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
