We're seeking an experienced Cloud Engineering Architect to join our Central IT team, reporting directly to the Vice President of Cloud Architecture.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing cloud-native infrastructure solutions that meet the evolving needs of our engineering teams
- Designing and guiding the adoption of modern services and architectures across the organization
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to foster innovation and creative problem-solving
- Staying ahead of technology trends and investigating new concepts to drive business value
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- At least 10 years of total IT experience, with 3+ years in a Cloud Engineer/Architect role
- Hands-on expertise in AWS services, including IAM, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and more
- Experience designing and implementing cloud native infrastructure, landing zones, network, DNS, and data solutions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively articulate architecture tradeoffs and collaborate with teams
- A forward-thinking mindset, with a focus on connecting technological advancements to organizational needs
- A self-starter attitude, with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement
Preferred qualifications include a Computer Science or Engineering background, relevant certification in public cloud services, and experience with agile methodologies and DevSecOps practices.
