Job Summary
We are currently seeking an experienced Collaborative Technology Specialist to join our Unified Communications and Collaboration team. As a key member of this team, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining cutting-edge communication and collaboration platforms across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Unified Communications Engineering: Own and drive all technical solutions related to unified communications, including conference rooms, mobility, video streaming, and automation.
- Digital Project Planning and Implementation: Contribute to the planning, assessments, and implementation of key digital projects within collaboration platforms, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
- Technical Leadership: Serve as a point of escalation for operations and other engineering team members, providing expert guidance and support.
- Peer Review and Quality Assurance: Perform thorough peer review of work generated by other UCC engineering team members, ensuring exceptional quality and adherence to industry standards.
- Collaboration and Partnership: Work closely with Information Security to implement security architectures that protect data beyond company networks/boundaries.
- Analytics and Reporting: Produce recurring environment analytics and usage presentations, providing valuable insights for informed decision-making.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Technical Expertise: Demonstrable background in Slack, Zoom, and MS Teams, with experience using APIs and creating bots that generate value for technical and non-technical end users.
- Programming Languages: Proficiency in UNIX and PowerShell, with exposure to PHP, Python, or Java.
- ITSM Tools: Experience using IT Service Management (ITSM) tools and familiarity with DNS, Active Directory, SCIM provisioning, authentication protocols, SAML response, and similar technologies.
- Networking Protocols: Understanding of SIP, VoIP, MPLS, AVoIP, and other similar network technology protocols.
- Security and Compliance: Knowledge of SSO (OKTA) and VPN split tunneling, with a strong understanding of security and compliance requirements.
