**Job Description:**
We are seeking a skilled Product Cost Optimization Specialist to join our team at TE Connectivity. The successful candidate will be responsible for determining the price of new and existing products by evaluating cost, marketplace, competitor data, economic conditions, volume, and quality of the product, as well as market positioning.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement pricing strategies to maximize Business Unit revenue.
- Assess special pricing requests or requests for profitability and commercial effects of Distribution Channel transactional pricing decisions across Appliances in a timely manner.
- Improve price request response time and reduce responsiveness variation.
- Work closely with Product Management team and sales team to execute BU pricing strategy in the region.
Requirements:
- Must possess confidence and assertiveness.
- Critical and strategic thinker who can manage the details.
- Demonstrated ability to drive and influence change within global and cross-functional teams.
- At least 5 years of working experience, strong preference for Pricing or consulting background.
