Job Title: Enterprise Data Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Data Architect to join our team at Ame It Solutions. As an Enterprise Data Architect, you will play a key role in designing and implementing data solutions that drive business growth and improvement.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in data warehousing, business intelligence, and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes. You will be responsible for gathering business requirements, creating and documenting designs for Business Intelligence solutions, and developing new and supporting existing ETL processes using Azure Data Factory, Logic Apps, etc.

You will also be responsible for documenting mappings of data points, describing various sources and targets, error handling, logging, etc., and providing support to the organization's reporting requirements. Creating ad-hoc reports as requested is also a key aspect of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather business requirements and create and document designs for Business Intelligence solutions.
  • Develop new and support existing ETL processes utilizing Azure data factory, logic apps, etc.
  • Document mappings of data points, describing various sources and targets, error handling, logging, etc.
  • Provide support to the organization's reporting requirements. Create ad hoc reports as requested.
  • Supports business teams in utilizing the Data warehouse effectively by identifying gaps in data, work on enriching Data warehouse and enable business to perform self-service functions.
  • Assist with data migration for company acquisitions.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Science or Engineering.
  • Experience in collecting and translating the business requirements and converting them into logical/physical data models.
  • Experience in creating ETL involving heterogeneous data sources (IBM DB2, SQL Server, MySQL, Excel files, CSVs, Azure Blobs, XML, JSON, etc.).
  • Minimum of 2 years using Azure Data Factories, Data Flows, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, calling REST APIs.
  • Minimum of 3 years writing ETL in any other tool.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in writing SQL Code: Stored Procedures, Functions, Queries, Query Optimization by Indexing.

Preferred Qualifications:

Azure Data Factories: 5 years (preferred).

writing ETL in any other tool: 5 years (preferred).

writing SQL Code: 5 years (preferred).

Salary: The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.

Location: San Jose, CR (onsite). Ability to commute from San José, Provincia de San José required.
